Tornado Season is a Commin' In (From The Primer, Spring 1998)
Even though our area is not exactly Tornado Alley, we need to prepare for possible severe weather ahead. Some reminders:

• The safest place is in a basement, under a workbench! Next safest? In an interior bathroom. The more walls between you and the outside, the better.
• Keep away from windows. Flying glass is dangerous.
• Make sure your property insurance is up-to-date and paid up.
